Led the design vision for Corus Entertainment’s flagship properties, including GlobalTV, History, and Showcase. Oversaw art direction and design for major projects, such as the comprehensive redesigns of the Global Go App, GlobalTV.com, History.ca, ETCanada.com, and the TreehouseGO AppleTV edition. Additionally, spearheaded interactive initiatives like the History Vikings Interactive Map & Battle Tool, as well as the development of an extended feature video plugin for seamless integration across various Shaw video platforms
Roles
Web Designer / Lead Design, Mobile & Web
Timeline
March 2010 – December 2016
Major Redesigns
As the lead designer for GlobalTV, History, Showcase and Entertainment Tonight, I worked to create a templated design approach that could scale for each of Corus’ properties. Various brands would have content expectations that would vary drastically, so I built a system of design standards that worked to ease the amount of duplicate content work. For example, the Global TV App shared assets with the .com, where formally it would have had to be cut and done over 15 times.

Interactive Experiences
As a bonus, I offered my skillset and love of photography during official Corus sponsored events for their biggest brands, including : Global TV, History, HGTV, Foodnetwork and ETCanada. Events included show openings with Mike Holmes, Lidia Bastianich, Fashion Week, Counting Cars, Susur Lee and many others.
